The way in
which we implement this idea is to reflect the great diversity in the field
of wine and wine culture. A working group (ARGE) has been founded, affiliated to and legally integrated into the Tourist Board Thermenregion-Wienerwald, in order to take care of all aspects of marketing related to the Wine Route Thermenregion. As chairman of the Tourist Board and Mayor of Baden, August Breininger, who is also a member of the Provincial Parliament, regards this project as especially significant. The ARGE will take care of a co-ordinated implementation of the project "Wine Route Thermenregion" and manage the marketing activities with the individual enterprises. This body is composed of representatives of the Weinforum Thermenregion, of the winegrowers' district associations as well as of the regional tourist boards. At the moment, the members are busy working out the routes in the communities, implementing a uniform signage system and adapting the structure of the member enterprises. It is the objective to involve 150 to 160 enterprises in the working group! It is planned to implement the project by autumn 2001. |
