Water

Baden bei Wien not only provides beautiful scenery. Above all else, it offers water. The medicinal sulfur springs, which have a natural temperature of 36 degrees, were already famous in the Roman period.

They are the premise behind the "cure" in Baden and of all pleasures connected with water in the city. Traditional therapies such as sulfur baths, mud packages, massages, water therapy and different forms of gymnastics provide recreation, relaxation and regeneration for all of its guests.

Modern therapies covering diets, fitness programs as well as "autogenous" training and meditation assist in recovering and maintaining your health. At the core of it all is the human being and his or her pleasure...

Römertherme
Strandbad

During the summer, the Thermalstrandbad, a magnificent construction from the Art Deco period, offers adventure and fun for all ages. It has the largest sand beach of Austria and a multitude of sports and leisure facilities. The "Römertherme" (Roman Baths) which will be opened throughout the year will open its gates in summer 1999. Its modern swimming pool is embedded in the mineral water pool from the Biedermeier period, uniting the past and the future into something new. The swimming pools of the major hotels complete the picture.
Thus, you can enjoy water, the elixir of life, in all its possible variations.
